Don't trade until Wednesday!

THE WEEK

Another very “interesting” week of the trading.

Notice the high trading volume and the Herky Jerky movement day-to-day.  There are two basic emotions traders feel while trading – FEAR and GREED.  You are looking at a lot of fear and uncertainty with reasons.  Last week we had bank stocks crashing down ending the week shaky.  We saw technology and communication stocks on the rise.  It was crazy. 

LOOKING AHEAD – WHAT’S NEXT?

The outlook for interest-rate moves beyond this week is even more uncertain. At the moment, markets are betting that the Fed's key rate will fall to a range of 4% to 4.25% by year-end. However, the Fed's new quarterly projections issued next week might now show rate cuts. Even if the Fed pauses, it's still conceivable that policymakers could pencil in another rate hike under the assumption that the dicey climate for banks stabilizes.  No matter what is decided, there will be a reaction – up or down.  We will know on Wednesday.  I have decided to trade lightly until I can see a clear forward path

HOW AM I DOING?

Another great trading week for me.  I focused on getting in and out of trades quickly.    My overall gain for the week was 8.4%.  I am right on track to double my trading account in our ten-week DATA class series. Next week is the 10^th and final week of DATA for this quarter.  I must have a 6% gain this coming week to double my trading account.
